In Tamil Nadu the treasury was functioning under the Revenue department till 1954 then all the function of treasury and audit function was combined and a separate treasury department was formed. The new TN Treasury as the Department of Treasuries and Accounts was formed in 1962. All the sub-treasury in 12 districts at that time were brought under this department.

Now in this digital age every services is going online so TN Treasury has a website to cater its employee and pensioner to view their salary slip ,can download also and other details.

How can I check my ECS status of state government employee ?

To the the ECS status you need to follow the following instruction given below :-

1. Go to the official website – Link
2. On click on the link given above you will be directly navigated to the Home page of TN Treasury.
3. On the Home page from the different options click on the ECS Status .
4. Once you clicked on the ECS Status the three option of ECS Status will open in front of you.
5. As you want to check the ECS status for state government employee click on that.
6. Click on daily report by GPN number.
7. A details asking dashboard will open
   1. District Treasury
   2. GPF No
   3. Select a Month
   4. Sub Treasury
   5. / Suffix
   6. Select Year
8. Then click on the submit button.
9. You can take a print by clicking on the print button.

Tamilnadu ECS Status for Pensioners

1. Go to the official website – Link
2. On click on the link given above you will be directly navigated to the Home page of TN Treasury.
3. On the Home page from the different options click on the ECS Status .
4. Once you clicked on the ECS Status the three option of ECS Status will open in front of you.
5. As you want to check the ECS status for ECS Status for Pensioners click on that.
6. you have to login into your account to see the ECS Status

Check DDO Token Wise Report Online

1. Go to the official website – Link
2. On click on the link given above you will be directly navigated to the Home page of TN Treasury.
3. On the Home page from the different options click on the ECS Status.
4. Once you clicked on the ECS Status the three option of ECS Status will open in front of you.
5. If you want to check the ECS status for DDO click on that.
6. Fill the required credentials
   1. Treasury
   2. Sub Treasury
   3. DDO Code
   4. Password
   5. Enter Image Text
   6. Click On the Login Option
7. Your status will be displayed.

How to get family pension?

After the death of the pensioner, family members should inform the bank/treasury from where the pension was being received, suffice to say with a death certificate. If the PPO is joint then the spouse cab goes to the treasury officer with PPO, death certificate, and other required documents for sanction of LTA/F.P. along with form 14 (which is available in the Treasury) and after due verification and mustering,. And the pension will be delivered to her the day after her husband’s death.

When will the Pension /Family Pension be stopped?

Following are the cases when the pension/family pension will be stopped

• IF Pensioner /Family Pensioner doesn’t appear in person for mustering or send life certificate to bank/treasury every year. digital life certificate- click here
• If the pension is not withdrawn from the account for 6 months
• If the family pensioner doesn’t submit Non-marriage or Non-remarriage certificate or Non-employment certificate
